Youtaite Global Blend Test

Hosted by Hei

Through all the collabs I've been in as a time/tuner, I gathered lots of blend test lines from many singers in the community. Now, I would like to push this smol thing into a way much funnier and cursed thing; I will collect as many blend test lines as I can from the vocalists in the community! Feel free to contact me if you want to get added to this marvelous thing! :D

Let's go, come on, come on, on a journey
Nee, shiritai deshou?
Egaku basho ni tadoritsuku made

Come on, now, come on, on a journey
Unmei ga yobiyoseta
Michibiki no akashi

Stay cool, it's never really what it seems

If you want your lines to be added to this giant blend test, you can contact me on Twitter or Discord with your recording ready and your preffered credit alias and link. I will tune/time/mix it asap and notify you as soon as I updated it! :)

You can either record the normal melody or the "high harm" one (you can hear that we're not all singing the same oops)!

File specs :

Must be in .wavMust be recorded in monoAudio must be in decent quality (no reverb, no pop, no tin can mic)File name must be : NAME_Youtaite Global Blend Test_raw

Any recording not meeting the standarts stated above will not be counted in, as well as vocals that might be too off tune or off time (this is not a matter of competion/quality but more a way to keep the blend test consistent and easy for me to work on).

I am getting some good reactions and vocals really quickly, so I am starting to think about what to do next. A nice idea some of you had was to make some kind of library where youtaites could search and match different voices to look for blends, but such a thing might be hard to build in the first place; it might also cause some trouble to the people who don't want their lines to be freely accessible by anybody.

I might organize something similar but in a more private way : the private blend matching ! You can send me a DM anytime to ask for any blend you would like to check with your own voice + any other singer who participated, and I will send you a .mp3 file of your blend (or advise you nice blends without .mp3 in case you do not want any file).

This concept might also be done via a Twitter thread where I could tag singers who blend well (with no .mp3 file in the public area, of course) !

Reminder that the blends are purely made for fun and are only from my point of view and opinion, nothing must be taken too seriously here as I wish this little project will remain casual.
